These three things said to ourselves, I love you, I'm sorry, help me creates an intention of self love and nurturance. It is good and ok to put ourselves in our own priority lists. It's actually a must. When we do this the strong stay strong, kindness is returned to self, and our needs are met. In return others are blessed by our love and vibrance and we model healthy living and teach others that that we are worthy, loveable, and are treasures just as they are. If we do not love ourselves first before extending our love and help then we are extending our lack of self worth disguised in good deed. It is that that comes back to us. Never is love returned with hurt or fear. It's the underlying intention or belief that doesn't represent love that we experience. It's meant to be a mirror so we can see the error in our thinking so it can be realized, released, and changed. Loving others always starts within ourselves.
That was my response to a comment that was posted on Facebook that had good intentions to provide support to people, to create an" intention avalanche" of support. However, it feeds into the energy and belief in victimhood. People's intentions are good. Sometimes they require a slight shift in the focus. Love the support and love that is being extended. A small part of the original posting is here: Did you know the people that are the strongest are usually the most sensitive? Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated? Did you know the one who takes care of others all the time are usually the ones who need it the most? Did you know the 3... hardest things to say are I love you, I'm sorry, and Help me....-Let's start an intention avalanche. We all need positive intentions right now.

Well here I go! My very first blog posting! Yahoo!
I absolutely love helping people to get even a glimpse of how powerful and beautiful they are! That is what happened last Friday at the RISE conference at the UofG. High school students from across the UGDSB come to experience a conference just for them. My colleague Laura May Culver (Knowself Services) and I presented a session on Energy and Meditation. With the use of my handy-dandy dowsing rods I was able to show students how their thoughts affect their energy fields. Also, a demo of a student's energy before and after the fantastic meditation created by Laura May, The Red Telephone Booth, was experienced as well. Such a huge transformation in a short focused time. The responses from students and teachers were overwhelming! A student came to me over lunch and said "That was such a powerful session!" Teachers were finding creative ways to have me in to speak to teen girls, sports teams, and professional development for their staff. To see people's faces light up and have those moments of remembering how creative we actually are in our lives is absolutely priceless! I love my career!! Nicole |
